Water flow sensor consists of a plastic valve body, a water rotor, and a hall effect sensor - when water flows through, the internal rotator will change its speed with different rate of flow and hall effect sensor outputs the corresponding pulse signal.

Use with laser cutters or CNC to measure if and how much water is flowing through laser tube or CNC spindle for cooling.

The sensor has a 7mm coupling on both sides and is therefore easy to connect to a 6mm hose.

This sensor is ideally suited to measuring liquid across it. The sensor outputs a pulse that is relative to the speed at which the internal pinwheel is being turned. This can be calculated by dividing the output pulse by 7.5, which produces the flow rate in litres per minute.
